Phillies' Post: "I gotta get going"

Los Angeles (May 12)- The Phillies won a game tonight, but one of their star players was unhappy.

"I gotta get going," said outfielder Wally Post, who the Phillies count on for big production.

Post went 0-4 and is batting just .167 in 96 at-bats.

"It's not early anymore," Post said.

Post said that he was glad the Phillies beat the Dodgers, but he knows the team could win more games if he was producing more.

"They rely on me," Post said. "Tonight I was swinging at bad pitches again. I'm too anxious right now."

Phillies manager Eddie Sawyer shared Post's concern but was optimistic.

"Wally will hit," Sawyer said. "This game humbles you, but he will hit."
