Monday, May 11- Junior Gilliam's single through a drawn-in infield scored John Roseboro and the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Philadelphia Phillies, 3-2, in 13 innings at the Coliseum.
The first four runs of the game all came on solo homers. Willie Jones hit two home runs (6 and 7) for the Phillies (11-15), while Gil Hodges (7) and Wally Moon (6) connected for the Dodgers (17-12), who continued to put pressure on the first place San Francisco Giants. Jones' second homer came in the 12th inning, but Moon's shot re-tied the game in the bottom of the 12th.
