Wednesday, May 13- In a battle of struggling teams, Glen Hobbie pitched a complete game, four-hit shutout as the Chicago Cubs snapped a six-game losing streak with a 6-0 victory over the stumbling Cincinnati Reds at Wrigley Field.
The Reds (11-16) have lost eight of their past 11 games. The Cubs (13-18) pulled into a seventh place tie with Cincinnati.
Lee Walls had three hits for the Cubs.
Hobbie (3-4) walked two and struck out seven. Reds starter Bob Purkey (4-3) took the loss as he was knocked out of the game two batters into the sixth inning.
